Micro Business Visual Branding

Branding. What is it? Simply put, it’s being consistent in everything an organisation or business does. It’s a personality expressed publicly. This may range from the way a phone is answered to the cut of a uniform, from how a customer is greeted to the way in which the product is displayed on the shelf. At every point a message is being conveyed that is either consistent with or divergent from the personality of the organization.

One vital aspect of any brand is the visual identity or brand-mark. This small piece of your total package is often the defining element of your product and the first contact a customer has with your business. It is the central image that differentiates you in the mind of the viewer. In a marketplace saturated with images and words, making a unique and memorable impression is as essential as it is difficult.

At my studio I have put together an introductory visual-brand package for the micro-business entrepreneur (<10 employees, < € 2 mil / AUD $2.5 mil annual revenue*) entering into the marketplace for the first time or expanding an existing business model.

I provide premium design and craftsmanship, bespoke visuals made specifically for you, at an affordable rate. From inception to delivery, you will have access to all files and a direct line of communication with me, via my Basecamp site.

The MBVB package includes:

¶ 6 initial finished concept-sketches based on a comprehensive brief we create together.
¶ Your choice of one design for finalization.
¶ After presentation of final artwork, two rounds of minor revisions.
¶ Art direction of special printing processes: embossing, foil stamping, letterpress, etc.
¶ Brand-mark will be applied to premium business papers, including the following:

> Business cards — for all principals and up to 3 staff members
> Letterhead
> Envelope
> “With compliments” card

¶ I will provide a number of price quotes for printing from my local printing partners who will contact you directly regarding all billing and accounts for this aspect manufacturing (printing is not included in the MBVB price).
¶ A CD file will be provided to you, containing the brand-mark, usage guidelines, template files of business papers, print specs and instructions.
¶ A grant of all rights in perpetuity will be provided along with the final artwork file.

This basic package is available for AUD $3,300.00 (includes GST).
